Very nice packaging, like opening a present. Beautifully made everything. You need to heat seal your ribbon ends on the puff bows though, they fray out right away. I knew to take a lighter and carefully melt the ends but others might not know that. The only other thing I'd suggest for such a wonderful product as yours is that you work on scent strength on a few of your powders. Some are far too weak and others are great :) Love Black Ice and Dark Fantasy, nice scents. Overall very happy buying experience!

ReplyDeleteAs far of powder strength well this one seems to be a no win situation and each persons personal preference. I used to make them stronger in my initial batches, however some customers claimed it was too strong for a body powder. So I changed the scent formulations accordingly.
Another consideration when creating these scented powders... if scent is too strong it may provoke skin irritation. Since some people are using this in their 'private' areas along mucus membranes; this may cause discomfort to some with more sensitive skin.
When it comes down to body powders the majority are using them for the absorbent qualities they possess with the added benefit of matching their perfumes.
In order to get the scent effect to it's premium, it would be best to layer your scent with a matching perfume.
Some scents are naturally softer than others so the strength will indeed be different for each fragrance, depending on the character of the particular scent.
